ON ESTABLISHMENT OF A NATIONAL PARK TALKED AT MEETING IN THE MURMANSK REGION GOVERNMENT

On May 17, at a meeting of the Working Group on the creation of the Voryema River Valley reserve and the Tersky Bereg National Park in the Government of the Murmansk region, materials on boundaries of protected areas were reviewed, and a phased plan for the creation of conservation areas was approved. Alexei Ezhov took part in the meeting of the working group (ornithology and parasitology lab of MMBI KSC RAS). Suggestions and comments were made on issues of harmonizing proposed boundaries and protected areas regime with various structures and departments. The next meeting will be held in September 2019.
