WELCOME TO NATIVE PENATES !!!

On March 21, 2019, the RV “Dalniye Zelentsy” entered the native port of Murmansk. The scientific group successfully completed the first stage of integrated marine research program of Barents and Greenland Seas, scheduled for 2019.

The task of the first stage included collection of material in the Kola section and in the ice edge zone. Collecting data for a comprehensive analysis and forecast of ecosystem processes in Barents Sea allows you to replenish the available data on structure and characteristics of marine ecosystems functioning and covers all levels of ecosystem organization, both abiotic and biotic components.

On the shore, MMBI expedition group was also greeted by journalists of State TV and Radio Company Murman who prepared a report, which can be viewed at the link:
