RV “DALNIE ZELENTSY” IS READY TO DEPART

The scientific vessel of the Murmansk Marine Biological Institute RV “Dalnie Zelentsy” is ready to sail and carry out the first stage of the marine expedition program of 2019. The purpose of the integrated marine expedition is to monitor the open part of the Barents Sea and coastal waters of Arctic archipelago, to collect data for a comprehensive analysis and forecast of ecosystem processes in the most productive sea of the Arctic Ocean. Port control conducted a water safety exercise with a team of scientists before the ship departed.
