HYDROCHEMICAL WORKSHOP FOR LISTENERS FROM MARINE BIOLOGY SCHOOL - 2019

Activities of the annual School of Young Scientists in Marine Biology "Generation 2019 chooses Arctic research". On March 1, Tatyana Ishkulova, a researcher at the laboratory of plankton MMBI KSC RAS, conducted a training workshop “Field Studies in Hydrobiology” for her listeners. Students listened to a large lecture on hydrobiological research methods used by scientists in field conditions of coastal expeditions and onboard research vessels. In the practical part of the lesson, children got acquainted with bathometer, measured the density and salinity of various water samples, and learned how to write a protocol for scientific observation.
