COMMERCIALIZATION OF SCIENTIFIC DEVELOPMENTS - THEME, PROPOSED BY MMBI FOR THE INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S FORUM "BEYOND THE ARCTIC"

International Women's Forum “Beyond the Arctic”, the first in the Arctic Circle, was successfully held in Murmansk, on March 1-2, 2019. Delegates from Norway, Finland, Sweden and 23 Russian regions gathered in the capital of the Arctic to share secrets of their professions, to transfer their knowledge, skills and abilities. The leading researcher of the laboratory of zoobenthos, PhD Catherine Obluchinskaya gave an invited report at the round table "Women of Science and Education". Her message on the topic “Science and Innovations: Introduction and Commercialization of Scientific Research” is devoted to current trends in the introduction of innovative technologies, related problems and possible ways to solve them. In her report, Ekaterina, on the example of MMBI development in the field of medicines from algae creation, addressed issues of waste-free involvement of unconventional marine bioresources in the fish processing complex of the Kola Arctic. The round table was chaired by the Minister of Science and Education of the Murmansk region Irina Kovshir, and representatives of research and educational institutions and public organizations of the Murmansk region also took part in the meeting. With the report "New quality of life in active longevity: the responsibility of each or technology?" State Councilor of the Russian Federation, PhD Olga Shtemberg (Moscow) appeared.
