SCIENTISTS DISCUSSED HISTORY, TRADITIONS, PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS OF MODERN ORNITHOLOGY AT THE ZVENIGRODSKY BIOLOGICAL STATION OF MSU

From September 27 to October 1, 2018, a traditional gathering of ornithologists was held at the Zvenigorod Biological Station of Moscow State University. This year the forum of scientists was held in the format of the All-Russian Conference, dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Professor G.P. Dementiev and Schools on the biological basis of hunting with birds of prey "Ornithology: history, traditions, problems and prospects". Professor Natalia Lebedeva, an employee of the laboratory and ornithology of MMBI, has been the inspiration and organizer of these scientific events for many years. This time she made a scientific report “On the Wintering of Anseriformes in the South of European Russia” and held a session “Ecological Adaptations”.
