25 YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL COOPERATION OF MMBI AND TROMSO UNIVERSITY

This year, a friendly to MMBI Arctic University of Norway celebrated its 50th anniversary. As part of the anniversary celebrations, another important date was celebrated - the 25th anniversary of the scientific and creative cooperation between the University and Russian scientific organizations. The delegation of MMBI took part in the solemn meeting dedicated to the significant date, which was held in the City House of Culture in Tromsø on September 29, 2018. Head of ichthyology and physiology laboratories, PhD Oleg Karamushko, together with his colleague from the University Jorgen Christiansen, presented a report on the results of joint work in the field of ichthyology. Delegation members are director of MMBI, Professor Pavel Makarevich, and deputy director of PhD Denis Moiseev also took part in a scientific seminar with experts from the research company Akvaplan-Niva, where current and future cooperation in the field of environmental protection of the Arctic seas was discussed.
