SCIENTIFIC SCHOOL OF YOUNG BOTANICS HELD IN SAINT PETERSBURG

Maria Klindukh, a junior researcher at Laboratory of Algology, MMBI KSC RAS, returned from St. Petersburg, where she took part in the IV (XII) International Botanical Conference of Young Scientists in St. Petersburg, April 22-28, 2018. Maria made an oral report "Free amino acids of the Fucus vesiculosus algae (Phaeophyceae: Fucales) of the Barents Sea in spring", where she presented the results of her Ph.D. thesis she is now working on. Together with co-authors, the conference was also attended by Professor Grigory Voskoboynikov, senior researcher Inna Ryzhik. Their works were also devoted to the influence of environmental factors on biochemistry and physiology of Arctic algae.
