"ALL-RUSSIAN OPEN LABORATORY" WAS HELD IN MMBI KSC RAS

February 9, 2018, Murmansk Marine Biological Institute KSC RAS held "All-Russian open laboratory" - an international educational and educational event about our world - organized jointly with the Information Center for Atomic Energy of Murmansk. The opening took place at 3 pm: Murmansk, ul. Vladimirskaya, 17, Conference room MMBI KSC RAS.
Students of 9-11 classes of secondary schools in Murmansk: Gymnasium No. 3, No. 7, No. 8, secondary school No. 31, Murmansk Polytechnic and International Lyceums took part in the laboratory.
Grigory Mikhailovich Voskoboynikov, professor of the Algology Laboratory and Anatoly Alexandrovich Shavykin, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Head of the Engineering Ecology Laboratory, were the "chiefs" of Murmansk Marine Biological Institute KSC RAS.
"Laboratory technicians" answered dozens of entertaining questions and assignments from the field of physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, anthropology, and mechanics.
Practical exercises were conducted in the aquarium, parasitology and radioecology laboratories after writing an assignment.
For the first time, the "Open Laboratory" was held in April 2017 in 37 Russian cities, as well as in China and Kazakhstan. This year the event is planned at 10 "nuclear" sites in Vladimir, Voronezh, Ekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Murmansk, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, St. Petersburg, Saratov and Chelyabinsk.
