On November 29, 2017, Tatiana Maksimovskaya, an explorer and researcher at Laboratory of Oceanography and Radioecology of Murmansk Marine Biological Institute, took part in the 33rd meeting of student public association "IT Club on Department of Physics and Mathematics" (Murmansk Arctic State University). The employee of MMBI made a presentation on the topic "Information technologies in oceanology". The report aroused great interest among future mathematicians-programmers. Active participation of students in the report discussion showed importance of acquaintance with specific tasks of scientific and practical activity, possibilities of applying their knowledge and skills. Teachers also noted Tatyana Maksimovskaya's speech as undoubtedly contributing to the activation of growth and motivation points of students for new achievements.
